THE centerpiece of the music documentary “It Might Get Loud”couldn’t be simpler. Three guitarists share a soundstage to converse about making music: the instruments, ideas, methods, ambitions, memories and inspirations.
Those guitarists happen to be paradigm shifters for different generations: Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, the Edge of U2 and Jack White of the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather. And their guitars are close at hand for those moments when playing is better than explaining.
Sounds really good, I want to see!!!
Window or aisle?
Depends.
If I'm travelling alone, like for business, I'd prefer an aisle for 2 reasons a) you're a little less crammed in (tho you have to watch that your elbows/knees don't get hit by the beverage cart) and b) you can go to the restroom without inconviencing anyone (the WORST is when you gotta go and the person next to you is sleeping!)
But if I'm traveling w/ my husband, he gets the aisle so he has more room, and I get the window. Works for me :)
What is your favorite John Hughes movie? Bonus points: Share your favorite quote from that movie.
My favorite John Hughes movie is probably Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but my favorite quote is actually from Sixteen candles: "Dong, where is my automobile?"

Enough with these stupid corporate-sponsored QotD's, they SUCK!
Do you remember your dreams?
Yup, practically every night. I LOVE dreaming. I think the best invention ever would be some kind of dream recording device so you can watch them the next day. You'd see some wacky stuff for sure!
How has technology impacted the quality time you spend with your family?

For my FREAKIN' HOUSE TO SELL!!!!!!!!!!!! Argh!!! It's been on the market for almost 3 months now. Soooooooooooooooo frustrating. A couple came for a 2nd visit this past Sunday and brought the girl's parents. They were here forEVER and asked a million questions after. I really thought we'd get an offer Monday. Not a peep. Then yesterday (Tuesday), my agent said they were asking about how old the water heater was, how old the A/C was... really??? Is that really THAT important that it's going to determine whether you buy the house or not? Isn't that the kind of stuff you worry about when the inspection rolls around? Ugh. I am SO sick of living here, of having our house on the market. I just want to move, but the longer it's been on the market, the more unlikely it seems that it's ever going to sell :( So yeah, Intel, buy my house, will ya? Because I don't want my grandchildren having to visit me in this godforsaken townhouse.
Who have you lost touch with that you'd love to talk to again?
Very timely question, Vox... back when I joined Facebook a few months ago, I was bummed that this girl I was friends with in grade/middle/high school wasn't on there. She and I sort of had a falling out between junior and senior years...my fault, actually...I started dating and going to parties and she wasn't into that, so I kind of stopped talking to her. I was 17 at the time and stupid. I wish I hadn't done it. Well, checked just last week and she's on Facebook now. I want to send her a friend request, but I feel weird about it. I would love to get back in touch w/ her, but I feel badly for how I just stopped talking to her for no good reason. I think eventually I will reach out to her, I'm just waiting for the right moment, I guess, or waiting to find the right things to say.
